Hess Sports Group, a subsidiary of Hess Enterprises, is engaged in women’s professional sports through Hess Cycling Team, Hess Football and many more exciting projects in the pipeline. Hess Cycling Team founded in 2023 competing in the UCI Continental Tour and now competing in World Tour races. Hess Football will be acquiring female football teams in the UK/EU in the upcoming months.

Waterford Women’s FC is Hess Sports Group’s first female football team, located in Ireland. It is the first female football team in Waterford and we at Hess Sports Group are very proud to have Waterford Women’s FC as our first football club in our portfolio.

Following our principles, Hess Sports Group offers our professional athletes long term partnerships which include the development of their sports career, further education as well as commercial platforms for their life after cycling and football. We are proud to say that this approach is unknown in the sports world today.

Hess Football promotes inclusivity and opportunities for female players. We do workshops, and partnerships with schools and organisations to encourage participation at all levels. Hess Football is contributing to the growth and visibility of women’s football. We will break barriers and foster a culture of equality. The aim of the group is to be positioning ourselves to gain momentum in top leagues worldwide and this way promote not only the respective teams but also our group.
